ShipWorks is a SolidWorks plug-in that provides the marine engineers the capability to design hulls directly in a CAD system,using a more friendly and efficient GUI (Graphic User Interface) approach. Reducing time to pass to and from CFD, Analysis, tables and Cad. It provides calculation of wave resistance and potential flow. The kernel of ShipWorks is a numerical code able to calculate the steady inviscid flow around a ship hull, the wave pattern and the wave resistance. It solves the exact, fully non-linear potential flow problem by an iterative procedure, based on panel method.
